New places, new faces, and new cases. Clinicals can be an extremely intimidating experience for SRNAs. However, each placement is an opportunity to show how accountable, adaptable, and good spirited you are, future CRNA!

While every day can’t be perfect, there are steps you can take to ensure that you make a lasting impression, enjoy your experience, and provide excellent patient care.

In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing my top 6 tips for clinical success!

Coming from my perspective as a former SRNA and a current preceptor, we dive into:

  • How to best prepare for a case ahead of time

  • The importance of taking initiative (and how brightly this makes you stand out)

  • Keeping your workspace tidy

  • How to ensure you are putting patient care first

  • The KEY moments that a patient requires your full attention

  • How to take your time and not multitask

Enjoy, and happy listening!
